SLTV StarSeries VIII Finals will kick off tomorrow at 14:00 with two matches taking place each day leading up to Sunday's grand final at 19:00 .

Full schedule for this weekend's SLTV StarSeries VIII Finals has been announced, so we've put together a comprehensive viewer's guide to go together with our preview coming out later today.

As announced prior to the season kicking off, a total of $15,000 will once again be split among the four teams competing in Kiev, with the distribution being the same as last season:

1. $7,500
2. $4,000
3. $2,000
4. $1,500

Contrary to previous seasons however, SLTV organizers have opted to cut down the length of the Counter-Strike tournament to three days from four, therefore making the days slightly more packed with action.

No public GOTV will be available for the tournament, though the organizers will have an official stream in Russian on-site as well as a number of streaming partners in other languages.

Due to only six maps (de_cache, de_dust2, de_inferno, de_mirage, de_nuke, de_train) being in the SLTV map rotation, this season's finals will feature a slightly different map picking system:

1. Team A removes a map
2. Team B removes a map
3. Team A picks the first map
4. Team B picks the second map
5. Coin toss for the final map

Teams A and B will be decided by a coin toss in each round, so the higher seed will not receive any advantage in the map picking process; only an easier bracket draw.
